Those were the words of Invercargill mayoral hopeful Marcus Lush when Stewart Sowman-Lund put to him the suggestion made by some of his rivals that he’s a “celebrity” riding a wave of name recognition to the mayoralty. “That’s bullshit,” he also said.
Stewart interviewed the Newstalk ZB evenings host at his home in Bluff last week, the night after a lively mayoral debate in town, about his aspirations for our southernmost city.
